“We want to make Kigali Up known in East Africa and that’s why we are bringing in one of the most influential artistes currently Eddy Kenzo to inspire young artistes and the youth in general,” Popo said.

The singer will jet in Thursday to have plenty of time for workshops with youngsters and for rehearsals for the big performance.

The Zoom Zoom star was in Kigali last month before heading to Los Angeles for the massive 2015 BET Awards ceremony. While in town he managed to shoot a video, Zero Distance featuring local music star Tom Close.

Kenzo is famous in Rwanda for his songs like Sitya loss, stamina and many others. Upon his return to Uganda from L.A, he was accorded a grand hero’s welcome by hundreds of fans lining up the Entebbe-Kampala highway to catch a glimpse of the boy of the soil.
