Three months after delivering wrong speech as opened parliament, President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has yet again made the same mistake, albeit for 30 seconds.

While addressing his ruling Zanu-PF party meeting, Mugabe read a speech had delivered to the party’s central committee on Wednesday. President Mugabe had used the speech he wrongly read in September, the previous month at the State of the Nation.

The aging and outspoken Chairman of the African Union has warned the country’s armed forces to stay out of the raging debate about his succession.

“We had come to a point where there were some in the military, the police and the intelligence services joining factions. Let’s stop that,” President Mugabe told throngs of supporters in Victoria falls.

Zimbabwe’s First Lady Grace Mugabe and his Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa have emerged as rival candidates to replace the leader who has ruled Zimbabwe for 35 years.
