Rwandan Singer calls for love and unity amongst musicians as country mourns 1994 Genocide victims

ONE LOVE: Mani Martin calls for unity and love

R&B singer Mani Martin has urged fellow musicians to show some love to one another as Rwandans begin to commemorate the 1994 Genocide Against Tutsi for the 21st time.

“Our history makes us unique to the rest of the world, so let’s unite, love each other and say never again to Genocide in Rwanda as we comfort widows and orphans of genocide through this hard period,” he posted on his Facebook Page.

Rwanda and the rest of the world join hands in commemorating the 1994 bloodshed that claimed nearly a million people, majority Tutsi.

The theme of the commemoration week this time round is “Remember-Unite-Renew and fight against genocide denial”.
