Martin & Ross fine-tuning lyrics

Rwanda’s cultural music star Mani Martin is set to release a new single featuring Uganda’s faded R&B star Michael Ross.

The audio of the song is already recorded and it will be out by the end of this month alongside the video. The video will be shot both in Rwanda and Uganda.

“We want to give our fans both in Uganda and Rwanda, a new project complete with audio and video before this month ends,” Martin said carefully choosing not reveal the name of the new joint.

Martin and Ross met recently when the latter was in Kigali shooting his new video Ndakwikudira and right there on the fly the duo decided to hit the studio and start recording, so we are told, but it is possible the fellas have been working on the project before recent meeting.

Man Martin started singing at the tender age of 8 in a church choir; in 2010 he transitioned from gospel to secular music.

The star first tasted the limelight with his gospel song “Urukumbuzi”, this song however, drew him not so good attention from his church community. The evangelicals bashed the song saying it wasn’t suitable for the ‘holy’ folk.
